UV Disinfection Systems
UV Disinfection Systems use the UV rays to remove the pathogens and parasites present in the water.
Working Principle
When water passes through the UV disinfection system, the UV lamp emits short wavelength UV rays that incapacitates and kills the microorganisms by destroying their DNA. The pure disinfected water is collected at the outlet.
As given in the SOP*, the UV Disinfection System has to be operated and maintained.
